Thanksgiving is Just Around the Corner!

Retailers are pushing Christmas earlier every year. I saw some Christmas items out in stores even before Halloween this year. Why is everyone in such a rush? The cartoon at right shows how I feel about that.

Now it's November 1st. We are 27 days away from Thanksgiving. Every day this month, in preparation for Thanksgiving, we should name at least one thing we're thankful for.  Today I am thankful for friends and family.

Here is a cute little Pilgrim mouse anticipating the big feast day. Let the preparations begin!
